A GRANNY from Sola Farm in Stapleford has claimed that her neighbour has threatened to rape her.
Gogo Eneris Siyamukonde says she is living in fear of Taurai Mapuranga who indicated that elderly people were good in bed.
"He has threatened to have sex with me saying mbuya dzezera redu dzinotoda bonde kuti zemo rekushaya bonde ripere.
"Right now I am afraid of him, I can't stay comfortably in this compound," said Gogo Siyamukonde who also claimed that Mapuranga had threatened to kill her, accusing her of being a witch.
During the dispute between these neighbours Mapuranga is alleged to have chopped off his two fingers with an axe and chewed them.
The dispute initially involved their children with Mapuranga accusing gogo Siyamukonde of sending her child to beat his son.
Mapuranga went on to allege that Siyamukonde was a witch, causing him to continuously experience epileptic attacks.
Mapuranga yesterday said he failed to control his anger after the dispute resulting in him axing his own fingers off.
"I failed to control my emotions after an exchange with Siyamukonde and I cut my fingers off. Our children were preparing for a nyau ceremony and they failed to understand each other.
"I took it personally and I decided to discipline her grandson.
"Eneris came insulting me that she was aware of all the rumours that were circulating about me accusing her of witchcraft. I then attacked her because of the insults she was imposing on me and I chopped my fingers off.
"Mbuya ivavo vanoda kundijairira, I don't like it all," he said.
Mapuranga said he was in pain due to the self-inflicted injuries but denied claims that he chewed the fingers saying they were taken by his grandfather to Guruve.
"Right now I am in great pain, I am only using salt to cure the wounds," said Mapuranga.
