Zanu PF strategises while MDC-T is seized with Tsvangirai health

At a time when the MDC Alliance, and the MDC-T in particular is seized with Morgan Tsvangirai's health, it is game on for Zanu PF as it launched its National Livestock Identification Programme, which is set to unlock approximately US$2,9 billion in dead capital.
The programme is set to transform the country's cattle industry as it will for the first time give collateral value to the livestock.
According to Zanu PF sources, this is a massive project, which will turn around the fortunes of the rural population.
"More so it comes at a time when the land rationalisation programme has been initiated …. This will also unlock free land for grabbing by cattle breeders who are yearning for land.
"By the time the opposition are done with their debates on who leads them Zanu PF would have rolled out all projects worthy to be in a serious manifesto," said the source.
