BAD for business!

Primrose Moyo from New Lobengula suburb in Bulawayo is a self confessed prostitute who regrets mixing business with pleasure.

She once dated a client one Kennedy Chesa who is now causing problems for her by insulting and physically abusing her whenever he meets her with a client.

"I am a prostitute and Kennedy Chesa is my ex-lover and we broke up sometime in January this year. Despite the fact that we are no longer staying together he frequents my place. Kennedy has a tendency of insulting and assaulting me whenever he sees me with a client, the latest being on 19 October when I met him at Club Royal at around 3 am.

"He is also harassing me while accusing me of infecting him with a sexually transmitted disease. On the day in question he stabbed me with a broken beer bottle and I sustained injuries on my forehead. He went on to take my shoes and whenever he knows that I have money in my possession he forcibly takes it.

"I declare that his conduct is disturbing my peace and business," complained Moyo while insisting that Chesa's behaviour was driving her out of business.

In response to the allegations Chesa said problems started after Moyo decided to entertain other clients in his presence.

"I met her in the bar and I proposed love to her and she agreed after she told me that she had been chased away from home. I took her to my place where we stayed together for one-year and six months. I started being violent after I discovered that he was now entertaining other men in my presence," said Chesa, adding that he had no problems if the court decided to grant the protection order in Moyo's favour.

In his ruling the presiding magistrate Tinashe Tashaya however, ordered Chesa not to emotionally, verbally and physically abuse his ex-lover each time he meets her as well as not to visit her at her place.
