'Air Zimbabwe fleet too old, noisy'

Air Zimbabwe (Air Zim) cannot fly to Europe and some of their aircrafts are banned from flying into South Africa because they are too old and make a lot of noise, Joram Gumbo has said.

Gumbo told senators last week that the government is looking for partners to resuscitate Air Zim.

Gumbo said they were allowing other players, particularly Zimbabweans who are interested in aviation to partner them or to bring in their own equipment and ply Air Zimbabwe routes.
