One of Joice Mujuru's NPP senior officials Cuthbert Ncube this week threw in the towel over allegations of gross indiscipline within the party structures.
In a resignation letter to Mujuru, Ncube - who was vying for the party's deputy presidency which he later lost to Samuel Sipepa Nkomo - said he could not take it anymore.
Ncube also noted that it was unfortunate that those who had backed him during the VP campaign were harassed and hounded of the party.
Ncube accused Mujuru of being a dictator. NPP provincial chair David Moyo played down Ncube's resignation saying the party was still going strong without him.
