Zanu-PF Harare Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) has recommended for the expulsion of three senior members for allegedly working with the ousted Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa who was relieved of his duties for undermining the authority of President Robert Mugabe.

The three senior members recommended for expulsion at the Zanu-PF Harare PCC held in the capital are Omega Hungwe, Terrence Mukupe and Cliveria Chizema.

Zanu-PF Harare Province chairman Charles Tavengwa told journalists that the PCC resolved to endorse the First Lady Dr Grace Mugabe to replace the fired Mnangagwa and reaffirmed President Mugabe as the sole presidential candidate for the 2018 harmonised elections.

The Harare PCC also recommended suspension of seven other members including Justice Zvandasara, Betty Mutero and Goodwills Masimirembwa who were suspended pending disciplinary hearings.
