Two jailed for stealing mufushwa

Two Notorious Guruve thieves were jailed 70 months each for unlawfully entering into six houses and stealing dried vegetables (mufushwa) among other things.

Shame Kuzvova and Wellington Kuzvova  appeared before Guruve resident magistrate Mr Shingirai Mutiro today and were convicted for six counts of unlawful entry and theft.

Public prosecutor Ms Spiwe Makarichi told the court that sometime in September the Kudzvova brothers unlawfully entered into six houses stealing dried vegetables, ball points, towels, pots a bicycle and a door frame.

Cases of unlawful entry and theft are prevalent in Guruve district.
