Former Minister of Education Sports and Culture David Coltart has responded to General Chiwenga' s press conference yesterday in Harare on army's position following the firing of former Vice president Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa.
Coltart called all patriotic citizens to demand the constitution to be adhered to.
"At the time of peril in # Zimbabwe it is critical that all patriots demand that the Constitution be scrupulously adhered to - for it is the only objective instrument which binds us and gives us a sure foundation for the future, "he tweeted.
Meanwhile, the #ThisFlag clergyman Pastor Evan Mawarire who became popular for shutting down Zimbabwe through social media shared the same thoughts with Coltart.
"In these time of crises our nation, the citizens must stand together and defend their constitution and their future, and the time is now!" Mawarire tweeted.
