MDC-T official Chalton Hwende has said in all fairness if what the military are doing is for the good of citizens it must be considered the MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai as the legitimate candidate to lead the transition basing on the fact that in 2008 he won the elections and was denied to rule.
"All the lists being circulated are just rubbish the only person who has a legitimate claim to the Zimbabwean Presidency is Morgan Tsvangirai.
"He won the Elections in 2008 and was denied the chance to run the country. He must lead the transitional process if the military is doing this for the people of Zimbabwe," he said.
As the military seem to have dismantled the rule by Zanu PF government the transitional authority is imminent.
However, last month MDC-T lawmaker Eddie Cross said the former trade unionist was suffering from an aggressive form of colon cancer.
"He has been struggling with his treatment and the family is concerned that he might not handle the election and subsequently the responsibility of being president of a country in a deep crisis," said Cross.
