Mugabe must respect soft military approach, he could've been dead by now - analysts

Some political analysts have said President Robert Mugabe must appreciate the soft approach made by the military in seeking to persuade him to step down saying otherwise in a property executed coup he must have been dead now.
The remarks come amid reports Mugabe is refusing to have former Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa to be endorsed as interim President in the transitional authority which the military is pushing for when Mugabe steps down.
Sources say Mugabe's denial of Mnangagwa as a leader of the transition was that he feared that he would revenge on him and his family for the heartless dismissal from both the party and government.
Indications are that the military age slowly getting impatient with him saying he must be reasonable to their soft approach as they will not go back in what they have started and he must be out of office now.
Analysts say Mugabe's stance is believed to be with the hope that SADC will intervene and stop his removal from power.
