Mugabe out, Mnangagwa in - Zanu PF youths

The Zanu PF Youth League has called for the immediate reinstatement of Emmerson Mnangagwa as the Vice President and Second Secretary of the revolutionary party and government.

The youth also recommended for the expulsion of the First Lady, Dr Grace Mugabe from Zanu PF and called for President Robert Mugabe to step down.

The Youth League executive converged at the party's headquarters this morning where they demonstrated in solidarity with the Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF)'s intervention to weed out criminals around President Mugabe and made a number of recommendations.

The six members of the Youth League recommended for expulsion are Kudzai Chipanga, Innocent Hamandishe, Tongai Kasukuwere, Xavier Kazizi, Malinga and Anastancia Ndlovu.

In a solidarity message with ZDF, the spokesman for the youth national executive, Yeukai Simbanegavi called for the immediate reinstatement of Mnangagwa as the Vice President and Second Secretary of Zanu PF as well as in government.

The youth also recommended that all expulsions which were done in the Youth League from 2014 onwards be declared null and void.

They also called for stringent disciplinary measures for all alleged criminals who include Saviour Kasukuwere, Professor Jonathan Moyo, Patrick Zhuwao, Dr Ignatious Chombo, Mandiitawepi Chimene and Letina udenge.
