NERA calls for resignation of Makarau from ZEC

A the nation gears for the harmonized elections expected next year, National Electoral Reform Agenda (NERA) has called for resignations of various government officials from their positions among them the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission Rita Makarau for suspected links with the ousted President Robert Mugabe in plotting to rig elections.
NERA through a tweet directed to Army General Constantino Chiwenga said he must push Makarau to resign from ZEC to ensure a transparent and unbiased electoral process.
Others which NERA asked to resign are the University of Zimbabwe Vice Chancellor Levi Nyagura who is accused of giving Mugabe's wife Grace a fake Doctorate.
NERA also demanded the resignation of Police Commissioner General Augustine Chihuri for a long time presiding on police officers who butchered the people on behalf of Mugabe.
They also demanded that there should be a suspension of all civil service recruitment freeze.
