Norton MP Temba Mliswa has said the prospective meeting between President Robert Mugabe and his former deputy Emmerson Mnangagwa does not stop the legislators from sitting in parliament to impeach him.
The remarks come in the wake of doubts escalating whether the impeachment will go on as the military announced that there is a road map to resolve the impasse between the two leaders and they are likely to meet soon.
speculations were that this means the end of all the processes which might lead to Mugabe's impeachment.
"People must understand that ED meeting with the President does not stop the processes happening and marches must continue. Equally parliament is moving forward with impeachment," Mliswa said.
