Two men from different backgrounds have managed to stir up social media as they sang along to Sister Bethina - a song often referred to as "South Africa's 'national anthem".
Thirty-four year-old Lefa Motloung, together with his colleague, 29-year-old Irvine Spencer, took centre stage during their work year-end function at Klipdraai Karavaan Park in Meyerton on Saturday, when they sang along and danced to the decade-old song.
Motloung was the only black person there from the company celebrating with his colleagues, when Spencer decided it was time to change the music.
"I first heard a DJ playing this song...I liked it and downloaded it, Spencer said. "Since then, I learned the words and now I can sing it fluently."
"Irvine said I had been listening to their songs for a while now, so wanted to play some of my songs and sing along with me," Motloung said .
"I've been a partner at the company for eight years and he [Spencer] would always play Sista Bethina in his car, so he said we should both sing it on Saturday so as to show people that we see beyond our race."
The video has since attracted more than 45 000 views and over 900 shares.
