Fall of Mugabe does not mean fall of Mugabeism - MDC official

MDC official Discent Collins Bajila has lamented that people must now be aware that the fall of former President Robert Mugabe does not mean the fall of Mugabeism as his habits still continue to be implemented in his absence.
"I hope that by now it is clear to all that the fall of Mugabe doesn't mean the fall of Mugabeism. The heir to the throne is a pedigree Mugabeist. He is not crafty enough to usher in a new dispensation devoid of slander, arrogance and plunder. He is most likely to lead a divided society," he said.
"The fronting of Jacob Mudenda and Obert Mpofu in his schemes is indicative of the acceptance of the death of the Unity Accord and therefore of the pretence of national unity."
He said Mpofu and Mudenda are some of the people who proudly stood with ZANU as its MPs as it massacred innocent people in Matebeleland and Midlands.
"They contested on a ZANU ticket even at the height of Gukurahundi in 1985. No doubt one of them will be in the Mnangagwa Presidium," he said.
"Mnangagwa and his team seem to be assembling a team of people who have stood by the party at its scariest moments."
