Zanu PF Youth Harare Province says the 18th of November should be put on the calendar as public holiday to remember the solidarity march that ushered in the new government.

Zanu PF Harare Province youths chairman Godwin Gomwe told ZBC News that the 18th of November a day which saw millions of Zimbabweans march in solidarity to push the former president to resign should be declared national holiday.

"As Harare Province youths we are prepared to continuously support Zimbabwe Defence Forces which mooted the peaceful march," said Gomwe.

Currently the resignation of former President Robert Mugabe has brought about the new political dispensation by President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa.
