Parliamentary business is being impacted upon by the absence of a new team of Cabinet ministers - throwing tomorrow's House sitting into doubt as MPs are not sure how to tackle outstanding issues which were within the purview of ministers under former president Robert Mugabe's administration.
Legislators yesterday confirmed that they were unsure whether they should continue with their oversight work in areas which the previous Cabinet team had presided over, or wait for the announcement of a new Cabinet before proceeding.
This follows the dissolving of Parly as president Mugabe resigned.
The Parliamentarians said it would be difficult for them to convene with its work even as the 2018 National Budget is among the priorities of the House's itinerary.
