A CITY man is at odds with his step son accusing him of snatching his second wife whilst he was out of the country on business.
Job Mapingure opened up at the Harare Civil Court seeking for peace order against his step-son Simon Kukera.
"Your Worship, I am applying for a peace order against my step-son who is violent and constantly insults me in front of my neighbours.
"The misunderstandings emanated from the issue that he took my second wife and married her. Right now I am still in shock about how he took my wife.
"Another issue is that he takes my property and sells without my concert and uses the money to spoil his wife and also on drugs.
Job added;
"He always threatens to assault me whenever I confront him, asking about my property which he has sold.
"I want him to be stopped from visiting my place with the intention of harassing me. I want peace to prevail though he took my wife," said Job.
In response, Simon said;
"I am not opposed, I want peace to prevail between us although I am opposed to some of the accusations.
"It is his wife that tempted me to marry her because when father was away with work she seduced me.
She forced me to sleep with her leading to the birth of my first child."
Simon pleaded for forgiveness to his step father saying that it was a mistake.
Magistrate Tatenda Sharon Chipanga granted the peace order in Job's favour.
