Bank official assault cop over car accident

An employee with the ZB bank is in trouble after he allegedly assaulted a police officer he accused of having caused an accident in Bulawayo.
Martin Munyaradzi Mpofu pleaded not guilty to assaulting a peace officer when he appeared before Bulawayo Magistrate Rumbidzai Rachael Mbanga.
It is alleged that on September 26 this year the police officer Collin Musoroyana and Mpofu were driving along Khami Road when their vehicles were involved in an accident.
Mpofu got angry and slapped the police officer accusing him of having caused the accident. A report made to the police led to his arrest.
