An MDC-T official Charlton Hwende has said the major challenge that the new president Emmerson Mnangagwa will face is if he is forced to hold violent polls next year.

The nation is set to hold elections for the first time next without former president Robert Mugabe participating.

"The real challenge for ED will be when he is forced to run a violence-free election that is free and fair and allow UN and the international community to supervise those Elections. He will also be expected to accept the introduction of electoral reforms demanded by the opposition," Hwende said.

"In Zimbabwe, the two biggest political Brands are Mugabe and Tsvangirai followed by Zanu-PF and MDC. The grassroots in Uzumba and Dotito have known these two political brands for close to 2 decades. ED must still market himself beyond the social media. It's game on.!!! 2018 is for Morgan Tsvangirai to lose that's why intelligence operatives have been unleashed on social media to try and mislead MDC supporters to buy the argument that we must do away with Morgan Tsvangirai."

He said it's all a CIO script and they will ignore it and forge ahead with our Candidate. He said  2018 let's complete the change.!!!!
