Blessing-Miles Tendi, Associate Professor in African Politics at the Oxford University and author of Ashes & Fire: Life of Solomon Mujuru (Rex Nhongo) [Forthcoming], says Mnangagwa's path to power is strewn with dead bodies, broken bones and souls.
Tendi argues that Zimbabwe's problems are multifaceted and a simplistic focus on the economy and elections will not fix everything.
Prof Tendi wrote, "Mnangagwa's path to power is strewn with dead bodies, broken bones & souls. Yet a "free & fair" 2018 poll is uppermost for some while for others its all about economic stabilisation. Zim's problems are multifaceted. Simplistic focus on the economy & elections won't fix everything."
