Mnangagwa swears-in new cabinet ministers

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has sworn in members of the new cabinet at State House in Harare today.
First to take the oath of office were cabinet ministers, followed by Dr Christopher Mushohwe, who is the who is the Minister of State for Government Scholarships in the President's Office, ministers of state for provincial affairs and then deputy ministers.
The President on Thursday announced a leaner cabinet to avoid duplication of duties and to cut on expenses.
On Saturday, President Mnangagwa made some ministerial adjustments to the appointments he had previously made, to ensure compliance with the constitution and considerations on gender, demography and special needs.
