Former ZBC presenter Ezra Tshisa Sibanda has been encouraged by President Emmerson Mnangagwa following the dismissal of Lazarus Dokora as Minister of Primary and secondary education due to the concerned raised by citizens.

"Dokora fired! Surely it's encouraging that President ED Mnangagwa is showing signs of being a leader who is both Responsive and reactive. After public outcry, Dokora has been sacrificed out of many and removed as Minister of Primary and Secondary Education and replaced by Prof Mavima, a highly educated technocrat. He also added another female to his cabinet as he appointed Mrs Petronella Kagonye as Minister of Labour and Social Welfare," Sibanda said.

"As complex and sensitive as our internal relationships in Zimbabwe are, he rightly saw it fit to appoint Professor Clever Nyathi to a Presidential advisory position for Peace and Reconciliation. Of major significance is the appointment of a special advisor to the Presidents office for Disability Issues. He appointed Cde Joshua Teke Malinga to this role showing the progressive intentions of his administration. People should give Pres ED a chance to get on with it."
