Traffic safety stakeholders continue to urge motorists to ensure they are not over excited and irresponsible during the festive season.
Traffic safety campaign teams recently held an awareness campaign in Chinhoyi with the key message being on the travelling public and motorists to be responsible.
Officer Commanding Mashonaland West Senior Assistant Commissioner Rangarirayi Mushaurwa appealed to motorists not to speed and to ensure their vehicles are road worthy.
She also urged the traveling public to use registered passenger vehicle to avoid falling into the trap of robbers this festive season.
