Wife pulls sick hubby's genitals

A MARRIED man told the court that he escaped death by a whisker after his wife pulled his genitals while he was sick.

Nhamo Chinogureyi said he was living in fear of his wife Lynette Nyanyiwa after she almost killed him.

Nhamo narrated his ordeal at the Harare civil court where he was brought by Lynette who was seeking a protection order against him. "I could have died because she recently pulled my private parts very hard and she was quizzing them as well. I didn't have a lot of energy in my body because I was not feeling well, she only left me when I bit her finger," said Nhamo.

He went on to tell the court that he was having problems with his wife because she comes home late. She is in the habit of coming home late, and when I ask her that is when she picks up a fight," he said. In response, Lynette also accused Nhamo of being abusive towards her. He is in a habit of beating me up and at times he insults me with vulgar language in he presence of our children. In fact, that is the reason I am seeking a protection order against him," said Lynnette.

Magistrate Milton Serima, who presided over the case, granted a reciprocal protection order which states that both parties were to observe peace.
