The First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa says improvement of service delivery is key in resuscitating Zimbabwe's health sector.
Her surprise visits to the country's major referral hospitals proved that the outpatients departments' are providing deplorable services to patients.
The President, Emmerson Mnangagwa is on record saying it's no longer work as usual but the situation at Harare, Mpilo and UBH Hospitals suggests otherwise.
The First Lady said nurses have a duty to be hospitable to patients.
She challenged government to work on improving conditions of service for the health workers for the benefit of citizens.
The first surprise visit was at Harare Central Hospital and the staff was caught unaware before he visited Mpilo and UBH Hospitals respectively.
