CIO dies in car crash

Senior CIO Operative Nickson Chirinda has reportedly died in a road accident in Chinhoyi.

According to ZB News,The accident happened last night when Mr Chirinda's Toyota Land Cruiser vehicle rammed into a haulage truck and was trapped underneath the truck's trailer.

It is understood that the accident happened moments after Mr Chirinda had left Orange Grove Motel for his home.

In 2002 Chirinda drove over a cyclist in Masvingo along Beitbridge-Harare road and faced Homicide charges.

In 2008, he forcibly evicted 48 families from Redfield farm in Chinhoyi. The families took him to court.
