Vice President Retired General Constantino Chiwenga has called for unity of purpose among Zimbabweans in order to fulfill the vision set by President Emmerson Mnangagwa of positively transforming the country.
Retired General Constantino Chiwenga's message was delivered by Zanu PF National Political Commissar, Lieutenant General Engelbert Rugeje, at the graduation celebration for Retired Police Commissioner Oliver Chibage, who attained a doctorate degree, as well six members of his family who attained degrees.
"Everyone should play their part, everyone should know that the wealth of Zimbabwe is ours and everyone must enjoy it. The gold, platinum and diamonds, were in the past being given to only a few but we want everyone to enjoy in the new dispensation," said Lieutenant General Rugeje.
Retired Police Commissioner Oliver Chibage, who attained his doctorate in Business Administration majoring in ecotourism from the Atlantic International University, said Zimbabweans have a great opportunity to exploit the unique scenic environment to unlock financial value.
The new political dispensation has raised optimism amongst locals and Zimbabweans in the diaspora as well as the global business community which has initiated moves to step up investment.
