Fears are mounting that Gustav Kativhu (45) who staged a one-man demonstration against President Emmerson Mnangagwa describing the politician as a killer may be made to disappear are mounting following his appearance in court where it was ordered that he be examined by two doctors for mental faculties.

An observer Albie Matarutse posted on Facebook saying "Does anyone have any information on Gustav Kativhu (45) who was remanded in custody by Harare Magistrate Victoria Mashamba and appeared in court on the 21st of December after he was arrested at the Zanu-PF Extraordinary Congress on the previous Friday?"

Kativhu was charged with undermining the authority of the president and disorderly conduct at a public gathering after he staged a one-man demonstration against President Emmerson Mnangagwa. He allegedly carried placards which were inscribed with the words:

"Mnangagwa killed my friend, Zanu PF is giving your jobs to China, Mnangagwa-Chiwenga diamond mafia, Chiwenga don't beat vendors give them jobs Elections by UN, else 2008 and another 37 years of no job."

"When he appeared in court he said the police officers had abused him. Magistrate Mashamba ordered that Kativhu should be mentally examined by two state doctors after the state applied for a mental examination," Mataruse said.

"If anyone knows what has happened to him since please let us know. We do not want another disappearance on our watch. We also want to know what's happened with the children the government was said to have rescued after the child abuse (they called prostitution) scandal."

"We need to keep looking out for each other. No man should be left behind."

Itai Dzamara was made to disappear after he staged several one man protest calling for Robert Mugabe to go.
