#ThisFlag leader pastor Evan Mawarire has sent a prayer to Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-T) president Morgan Richard Tsvangirai who is battling colonial cancer.
Tsvangirai flew to neighbouring South Africa yesterday to seek medication after the Zimbabwean president Emmerson Mnangagwa and his vice Retired General Constatino Chiwenga visited him at his Highlands home to check how he is recuperating.
The clergy man Mawarire who is more popular on social media sent a prayer on Twitter saying," Lord we pray for the well-being of Mr Morgan Tsvangirai. Restore his health with much joy and salvation that he may live a full life. Amen"
Despite his sickeness the MDC Alliance endorsed him as their presidential candidate for 2018 harmonised elections.
However, the move has been taken with mixed feelings with some analysts suggesting that he should appoint a successor on medical grounds while others believe it is not the righttime since elections are just around the corner.
