Former Minister of Education David Coltart has come under attack on Twitter after saying he is "very sad to read [pictures] how ill Morgan Tsvangirai is..." although they both had their our differences in past.

"I am very sad to read how ill Morgan Tsvangirai is. Although we have had our differences in outlook (mainly in 2015) I have admired his courage, fortitude and commitment to a new democratic #Zimbabwe. I am praying for him and wish him well," said Coltart via Twitter.

A Stunned Twitter user Oswelled Ureke questioned, "To read?"

Coltart responded, "Yes "to read" - not just words but pictures also - and also "to read" into a situation."

However, a number of Twitter users were not happy with Coltart's tweets and attacked him.

"We don't care how much you differ with him. Your differ does not make any difference. Without you Mr Diva, Save continues to be a hero," said a Twitter user by the name Prince.

Lovejoyticharwa tweeted, "who do you think cares about ur differences?"

"Yeah yeah, he is your boss ..with all due respect sir," said allankingjunior.

Shimmer Shikita said, "Unongohumana"

Meanwhile, Morgan Tsvangirai is in the neighbouring South Africa where he is receiving treatment for his colonial cancer and has issued a statement stating succession though he did not name his successor.
