A MARRIED WOMAN is at loggerheads with her husband after he chased her away from their matrimonial home to accommodate sex workers.
Spelile Nhoti accused her husband Marvellous Nhoti of squandering his earnings with hookers at the expense of his family.
Spelile opened up at the Harare civil court where she was brought by Marvellous who was seeking a protection order against her.
"We are married under Chapter 5.11 but my husband has developed a very bad habit of bringing prostitutes home," said Spelile.
She said that ever since Marvellous developed the habit, he has been denying her conjugal rights.
"I last shared the same bed with this man last year in September and he no longer wants to have sex with me since the time he started hiring prostitutes," she said.
In response, Marvellous accused Spelile of stealing from him.
"We are not staying together so she recently came and stole my laptop and fuel coupons worth 1 500 litres," said Marvellous.
He also accused Spelile of harassing him.
Magistrate Milton Serima, who presided over the case, granted a reciprocal protection order which orders both parties to observe peace.
