Senior CIO spies fired

A number of State security agents have been retired from the Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) as President Emmerson Mnangagwa's administration tightens its grip on power.

Senior secret service operatives who were put on one-year renewable contracts after reaching their retirement age have been released from the CIO.
