Man rapes friend's wife

A MAN from Honde Valley betrayed his friend after he manhandled and raped his wife recently.
Luke Kudyafodya had asked his friend's wife (name withheld) to take care of his children since his wife was not feeling well and was admitted in hospital.
Police revealed that Kudyafodya who was arrested and is facing rape charges, manhandled the victim and raped her once.
The crime surfaced after the wife disclosed the rape to her husband soon after the incident.
Acting Manicaland police spokesman, Sergeant Muzondiwa Clean, said the suspect was assisting police with investigations.
"Kudyafodya asked for his friend's wife to prepare some food for his children since his wife had been admitted at Hauna District Hospital and she complied.
Kudyafodya sent the woman to his bedroom to go and collect some eggs. She proceeded to the bedroom and Kudyafodya followed her.
He manhandled and raped her once.
The victim's husband, who was at a neighbour's house, heard his baby crying and he rushed to Kudyafodya's homestead to check what was happening.
"He heard his wife crying for help. She stormed out of the house holding her one-year-old son in her arms. She then informed her husband about the rape and a report was made to the police.
"Kudyafodya was arrested and is assisting police with investigations" he said.
