Grain Marketing Board transfers all provincial managers

Grain Marketing Board has transferred nine provincial managers in a bid to reduce rampant corruption at the parastatal.
All transfers are with effect from April 1.
Bulawayo manager Nokuthula Sogutsa move to Masvingo, Shepard Chatikobo of Harare and Mashonaland East would head Mashonaland west GMB.
Felix Zaba takes over Matabeland North from Mashonaland Central,Tavonga Makuvara leaves Masvingo for Matabelland South, Filton Kamambo goes to Bulawayo from Midlands, Edmund Gunha takes over Harare/Mashonaland West from Manicaland.
John Mafa is moved from Mashonaland West to Mashonaland Central, Podiso Mafa wiudl head Midlands from Matabeleland South and Petronella Nkomazana moves from Matabelelaland North to Manicaland.
"The self-cleansing exercise is set to continue as the organisation aims to eradicate all forms of office abuse as it positions itself for a major restructuring which will result in the separation of the strategic grain reserve from commercial operations," GMB general manager Albert Mandizha Mandizha is quoted saying.
Several GMB workers have been fired on corruption allegation after accused of diverting grain.
