Tsvangirai holds memorial service for his late wife

A memorial service for the late, Mai Susan Nyaradzo Tsvangirai, the wife of Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai was held today at the premier's residence in Harare.
Mai Tsvangirai died in a car accident along the Harare-Masvingo Highway on her way to Buhera on 6 March 2009. She was accompanied by her husband when the accident occurred.
The service was attended by hundreds of people from all walks of life.
MDC national chairperson, Lovemore Moyo described the late Mai Tsvangirai as a person who played a very significant and symbolic role in her family, the MDC-T and the country at large.
"She possessed immense strength and courage," said Moyo.
