Norton legislator Temba Mliswa has bemoaned people who are criticising Former Mashonaland East Minister of State Retired Brigadier-General Ambrose Mutinhiri for resigning from ZANU PF and joining National Patriotic Front.
Mliswa said Mutinhiri has the democratic and constitutional right of freedom of association.
"Hon. Mutinhiri was a commander par excellence during his time & one of the most humble men I've had the privilege to meet. Whilst I may not agree with his political ideologies, he has the democratic & constitutional right to freedom of association & shouldn't be criticised for it," said Mliswa via micro blogging Twitter.
Apparently, Mutinhiri resigned from ZANU PF and Parliament last Friday over the alleged unconstitionality of the military coup that illegally imposed Emmerson Mnangagwa as President of Zimbabwe and led to the Army's usurpation of the power and authority of civilian institutions including ZANUPF.
