Khupe continues to stretch Chamisa's patience

MDC Alliance leader, Nelson Chamisa says defiant MDC-T vice president Thokhozani Khupe continues to stretch his patience but has however pledged to engage and give her more time to reconsider joining the alliance before disciplinary measures can be taken.
The disgruntled MDC-T vice president Ms Khupe whose seven-day ultimatum lapsed few days ago snubbed yesterday's MDC Alliance rally held at Cross Dete in Matabeleland North Province is a clear statement of the continued rift within the MDC-T camp.
Addressing party supporters, Mr Chamisa said he will try to engage Ms Khupe adding that if negotiations fail necessary disciplinary measures will be taken.
MDC leader, Mr Welshman Ncube who reaffirmed the alliance's endorsement of Mr Chamisa said the Khupe camp has no basis to challenge the National Council decision which he said is final and just.
Reprimanded Douglas Mwonzora was present at the rally and was given an opportunity to chant the party slogan.
The MDC Alliance leader who last week announced that he intends to introduce speed trains said the alliance have plans to construct four lane highways across the country, turn Victoria Falls into Las Vegas and construct a University of Tourism and Fisheries in Binga.
