MUTARE City Rovers edged Dynamos 2-1 at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday but the visiting coach said they are not concerned about the score line ahead of the new season.
Coach Joseph Takaringofa said the match was more to assess the team's performance.
"The season is still to resume and we are not focusing on the score line. Since it was a friendly match, we don't read too much into it.
"We were looking at the players' performance, their combination and how they were gelling," he said.
"We still have one or two areas that we have to work on to improve our team's performance.
"Our main focus in our first PSL matches is to collect maximum points by all means possible.
"We want to win all our opening games for us to boost our confidence and take away our fear."
Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa has also been using the training matches to improve the team, with indications that half of the team is not fully fit.
