WARRIORS star Tino Kadewere believes Knowledge Musona's absence from the Warriors squad will always be felt.
Musona is ruled out with injury along with Khama Billiat and Kuda Mahachi.
Kadewere, 22, who is in Sweden with Djurgardens IF, told H-Metro from his base yesterday that they will do their best when they plunge into battle next week.
He is part of the Warriors squad set to take part in a four-nation tournament featuring hosts Zambia, Angola and South Africa.
"Musona is the captain so he will surely be missed but it is football we will see what happens. We will try to do our best and I'm sure we will deliver good results," said Kadewere.
"The selected team looks really great and there is so much experience so I think we have a good chance.
"Khama and Ndoro are also senior players and they are on injury. I wish them a speedy recovery. We will do our best and make the nation proud.
"As a footballer I am always ready and I really can't wait for this tournament. At the moment I am still here and have an important game coming up this weekend."
Kadewere has been doing well for his Swedish club and H-Metro revealed in the past weeks that the club was desperate to renew his contract which ends end of this year.
In four cup games played recently, he has three goals and two assists, making him one of the most promising youngsters for Zimbabwe.
"I am happy I am doing quite well for my team this side. So on Sunday we have a semi-final game which I am looking forward to and it is a derby also," he said.
There are many who believes that soon, Kadewere will need to carry the weight carried by captain Musona.
The former Harare City star says he feels to no pressure when there are huge expectations.
"I am not under pressure at all, I will just keep working hard and make sure everything goes well for the nation and for me as an individual.
"I thank God for giving me the talent and I won't stop working hard," he said
