Tribalism rears its ugly head as Mugabe rejects Welshman Ncube

President Mugabe has finally come out in the open about his strong feelings on having another Ndebele in the front seat. He has adamantly shown support for Mutambara by effectively disregarding Welshman Ncube even though the MDC-N national coucil had voted for him.
When the president was approached by Ncube about the position of being the DPM, the president said "you can tell your national council that mina (me) as Robert Mugabe angifuni (I don't want)".
He said he wanted to work with Mutambara and Tsvangirai as they have been working well so far.MDC-N appear to be convinced that President Mugabe will not change his mind on the issue and they have conceded that Mutambara can keep the DPM post.
MDC secretary-general Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga said the MDC was now convinced Mutambara had sold out to Zanu PF. In a statement to the press she said "We have effectively donated the DPM post and Mutambara to Zanu PF."
