A political commentator Pedzisai Ruhanya has warned the opposition parties to blend their rallies with streets campaign in order to win voters from ward level to national level.

"Upon my arrival in Zimbabwe and being on the ground (as the activists often say) and 24 of observation it appears this far the opposition is organising and mobilising through big rallies while ZANU-PF combines public rallies with cell, party structures, street, community and ward structures based on the new ward based voting system,|" He said.

"The opposition need to blend rallies with street by street, ward by ward, village by village, community to community using committed volunteers. The Zaka villager thinks that ZANU-PF uses the cell based methods for subtle and personalised fear using soldiers and war vets beyond the scrutiny of observes, the media and the world."

He said its a methodological and stratagem game that the opposition should effectively counter to liberate electorate from ZANU-PF intimidation and control through harvest of fear.

MDC Alliance has since started rallies across the country in which they are propping up MDC-T leader Nelson Chamisa as their presidential candidate.
