Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) chief executive officer (CEO) Karikoga Kaseke has been issued with a warrant of arrest after he failed to appear in court to face an assault charge.
Kaseke is alleged to have insulted Harare lawyer, Phillipa Phillips, a derogative term while appearing before High Court Judge Clemence Phiri in a matter in which he was supposed to settle motor vehicle damages suffered by Phillip's client.
A warrant of arrest had to be issued against the ZTA CEO after he failed to pitch up for trial before Harare magistrate Tracey Muzondo to answer to the assault charge.
