Need for media to give equal coverage to all +110 political parties

Media Monitors, an organisation focusing on assessing the work of the media through media monitoring, research and knowledge management, says there is need for the local media to give equal coverage to all political parties as the country draws closer to the harmonised elections to be held in July.
This was said by the organisation's director Mrs Patience Zirima in an interview on the sidelines of an election reporting workshop organised by the Zimbabwe Union of Journalists (ZUJ) recently.
She said coverage of a wide range of political parties gives the electorate different options from which to choose their leaders.
