There was mayhem at ZANU PF Mashonaland Central offices yesterday where advocate Martin Dinha reportedly exchanged words with an aspiring Member of Parliament Champion Mugweni (34) who is eying his seat.
Source familiar with the incident allege business went to halt when Dinha protested against Mugweni who threw his curriculum vitae eying Mazowe North which is being represented by Dinha currently.
"Honourable Dinha accused Mugweni of moving with President Mnangagwa's daughter Chipo in his constituency to gain political mileage, revealed the source who declined to be named.
Mugweni could not be elbowed by Dinha and told him he had every right to associate with Chipo Mnangagwa as his friend and was also mandated by the constitution to leave his Curriculum vitae for verification.
Contacted for comment Mugweni refuted the allegations and promised to call back to explain the episode.
"Lo! It is not true will call you back," said Mugweni.
Dinha could not be reached for comment as his mobile phone went unanswered.
Meanwhile, Mugweni is being accused of duping unemployed youth in Mvurwi by promising them acquire mining licences.
He held a mining indaba at Mvurwi community hall sometime in January where hundreds of unemployed youths to be licensed by March but to no avail.
