Chamisa woos Mujuru

The MDC alliance leader by Nelson Chamisa has hinted on a move to bring the Rainbow coalition president and former Vice President Joice Mujuru into their coalition in a bid to fulfill the vision of unity left by former MDC T president Morgan Tsvangirai whilst at the same time fostering gender balance within the alliance.
Addressing thousands of supporters during an alliance rally held at White City stadium in Bulawayo over the weekend, the MDC T president said he had engaged the National People Party (NPP) leader to be part of the country's biggest political coalition.
"When Mr Tsvangirai left us he told me that he had taken the country thus far and it was now upon me to take it further, and just like Joshua I was given men to work with. I am proud of the alliance principals for all of them are competent, I'm confident of this unit, we even want more women so I told Mujuru yesterday evening to come and join us, we are stronger together so if she and other leaders join us we will be able to deliver a decisive victory", said Chamisa.
Chamisa urged political players not to divide the votes in the 2018 election saying that the alliance is open for all.
"Those who want to divide the vote shall stand on their own but we are calling for everyone to come and support us, we have told G40 to come if they want our party has room for all, even Mugabe, every vote is welcome."
The invitation of Mujuru to join the alliance comes at a time when rival camp led by Thokozani Khupe had been seeking to join forces with Mujuru as well.
