Armed soldiers brutally assault aspiring MDC MP

Aspiring MP for Gutu west, Stanely Manguma was allegedly assaulted by armed soldiers at Nerupiri turnoff whilst travelling to Nyika growth point in Bikita on Friday.

Manguma was on his way to an MDC Alliance rally.

According to sources the soldiers are allegedly from 4.2 Infantry Battalion in Gutu.

Manguma was admitted to Gutu Mission Hospital.
