TWO families are at odds with a woman accusing her neighbour of leaving his cattle to destroy her crops.

This matter came to light when Libiana Mutandwa was seeking for a peace order against her neighbour Robson Kanyemba at the Harare Civil Court.

"Kanyemba is my neighbour for 10 years now and we have been staying together in peace before he bought his cattle.

"He lets his cattle into my farm and that's when our misunderstandings emerged resulting in me reporting the issue to our chief but nothing was resolved.

"I am getting less farm produce because of his cattle and my family is suffering because of that; he is very inconsiderate your worship.

"Whenever I try to advise him on the issue, he insults me and even brags that he has connections to the chief so no one will arrest him.

"He is also in the habit of assaulting my children and insulting us each time he visits my place.

"I do not want to see him and his family at my house since they are very violent," she said.
Kanyemba was opposed to the accusations stated.

"She is a liar. I have never insulted her but her husband sold me that farm before he died.

"She is the one who is denying me access to my piece of land and I have been tolerating her for so long and it's now time to take action.

"I have nothing bad against her but I just want my piece of land or else she has to refund my money.

Presiding magistrate Lazini Ncube granted the peace order in Mutandwa's favour and advised both parties to approach relevant authorities for help.
