Car crash claims two

Two people died on the spot in Mt Darwin in the early hours of Independence day, Bulawayo24.com has learnt.
According to Mr Precious Chitofu, the accident occurred 4kilometers from Mt Darwin at Karuyara Bridge where a council worker drove in a bridge.
"The accident happened this morning around 02:00hours when Mt Darwin council employee Mr Njanja who was on his way to Dotito drove in a bridge and perished with an unidentified passenger," said Chitofu.
When Bulawayo24.com visited the scene broken alcohol bottles could be seen in the wreckage an indication that the two were on a drinking spree.
The duo's bodies have been sent to Mt Darwin mortuary for safe keeping awaiting post-moterm.
