Mnangagwa ignores nurses' job action

President Emmerson Mnangagwa completely ignored the on-going strike by nurses around the country when he addressed a capacity crowd that turned up for the 38th independence commemorations at the National Sports Stadium in Harare yesterday.
Amid expectations that he reverse government's dismissal of thousands of nurses on Tuesday, Mnangagwa skirted around the issue and only appealed for patience.
Mnangagwa, who did not show any urgency in addressing the plight of the nurses, said government was working on reviving the economy after which it would be able to meet the demands of the workforce.
